Amazing Chicken Gravy

4 T. salted butter

4 T. all purpose flour

1 tsp. onion powder

1/2 tsp. white pepper

2 C. chicken broth

1 T. beef bouillon granules

1/2 C. filtered water

1/4 tsp. salt or to taste

In a pot over med. high heat melt the butter then add the flour and whisk well to combine, continuing to whisk for 2 minutes. Add the onion powder and white pepper, whisk well for 30 seconds. Add the broth, whisking as you pour it in to avoid lumps. Once well combined whisk in the beef bouillon granules and water. Once the gravy comes to a soft boil, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 7 minutes, whisking often. Season with salt to taste and remove from the heat. Cover and let rest 2 minutes before serving.
