Crock Pot Pulled Pork


2 1/2 lb. pork sirloin roast

2 T. brown sugar

1 tsp. smoked paprika

1 tsp. chili powder

1/2 tsp. dry mustard

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/4 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. cumin

1/4 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 tsp. celery seed

Place the roast in the removable insert of the crock pot. Combine the remaining ingredients and rub the entire roast. Cover with the lid and place in the fridge overnight. Remove from the fridge and place the insert back in the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours. Remove the roast from the crock pot and shred with two forks. Can be served as is with some of the drippings from the crock pot or with your favorite BBQ sauce.
