Red Cabbage and Apples
3 T. butter
4 C. shredded red cabbage
1 large apple, chopped (no need to peel)
1 T. apple cider vinegar
2 T. sorghum syrup (honey works well too)
Melt the butter over med. high heat. Add the cabbage and apple to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring. Add the vinegar and syrup and continue to cook for 10 more minutes stirring frequently.
