Crock Pot Beef and Kielbasa Chili
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. polish kielbasa, cut into bite size pieces
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
15.5 oz. can chili hot beans
15.5 oz. can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 large onion, chopped
4 oz. can diced green chiles
1/2 can water (use the crushed tomato can to measure)
1 beef bullion cube
2 T. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. chipolte chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
In a skillet, begin browning the ground beef. About half way through browning add in the kielbasa and cook till the ground beef is cooked through. Remove from heat and drain the grease, add 1 T. of the chili powder to the meat, stir to combine and set aside. Add the remaining ingredients, minus salt and pepper, to your crock pot. Stir in the meat, cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
