Chocolate Fudge Pie


2 C. sugar

1/3 C. plus 1 T. cocoa powder

6 1/2 T. melted butter (no margarine)

8.5 oz can evaporated milk

2 tsp. vanilla extract

3 large eggs, lightly beaten

9" deep dish pie shell, unbaked

Sift together the sugar and cocoa in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in the butter, milk, vanilla and eggs. Combine well (it will not be totally smooth). Pour into the pie shell and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Allow to completely cool before slicing.
