White Pizza
White Pizza prepared pizza dough (Note: if you make the recipe which makes enough for 2 pizzas, you can tightly wrap the other portion of dough and freeze it for another time) 1 T. butter 2 large garlic cloves, minced 1/3 C. whipping cream 1 tsp. italian seasoning 1/4 C. freshly shredded parmesan cheese 8 oz. fresh whole milk mozzarella, shredded italian seasoning for topping Melt the butter in a small skillet, add in the garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in the whipping cream and seasonings. Cook for 1-2 minutes till it slightly thickens over med. high heat. Stir in the cheese and combine well, remove from heat. (This will make enough for 1 pizza). Roll out the pizza dough fairly thin (thin is best for a white pizza). Place on a pizza pan that has been lightly sprayed with cooking spray and dusted with cornmeal. Brush the dough with the white sauce mixture all over. Sprinkle the entire surface with the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle a little more italian seasoning over the top of the cheese. Brush the edges of the pizza with melted butter and bake in a 450 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.
