Instant Pot Wings with Tangy Sauce
18-20 chicken wing/drumettes
1/2 T. house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
1/2 T. oregano
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C. water
Sauce
4 T. butter, melted
1/2 C. bbq sauce
1/4 C. hot sauce
1 T. honey
Place the wings in a bowl, add the seasonings and toss to coat. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes. Place the trivet in the bottom of your Instant Pot and add the water. Arrange the wings on top of the trivet. Seal the lid and move the pressure knob to sealing. Manually set for 6 minutes. Meanwhile whisk together the sauce, set aside. Once the pressure cooker is done, allow it to naturally release for 5 minutes then manually vent and release remaining pressure. Line a large baking sheet with tinfoil and cover with a cooling rack sprayed with cooking spray. Place the wings on the cooling rack and baste all over with the sauce. Place in the oven, 6" away from the broiler, and broil on hi for 5 minutes per side. Allow a longer broiling time if you want them crispy.
