Crock Pot Corned Beef and Veggies

3 lb. flat cut corned beef brisket 3/4 C. apple juice 1/2 C. water 2 T. brown sugar 1 T. prepared yellow mustard veggies of choice 1 tsp. my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container) Rinse the brisket under water and place in the bottom of your crock pot. Whisk together the next 4 ingredients (you do not use the seasoning pkt. that comes with the brisket) and pour in the crock pot. Place the veggies on top of the brisket and season with the house seasoning (if using cabbage, do not add at this point). Cover and cook on high for 6 hours. If you would like to add cabbage, add it during the last hour of cooking time.
